Has anyone heard of or seen a pair of 859-a altec speakers. I understand they use a 15 inch LF driver and a horn. Driver units? cubic feet of volume? T and S values? I am considering using a 12 inch driver a HERALD MIGHTY MAGNET I understand they came out of a set of bosak grand concert speakers. A large sealed unit.I will drive a vifa 5 inch mid and morel tweeters from an active x-over 180 HZ and 4000KHZ Am I moving in the wrong direction? All comments welcome.
